Girls hockey continues to grow, and the Northwest Montana Youth Hockey Association (NMYHA) is committed to providing expanded opportunities for female athletes at every age and skill level.

Through our girls-only programming, players have opportunities to develop their skills, build confidence, and compete alongside other female athletes in a positive and supportive environment. NMYHA offers additional development and competition opportunities through 14U Treasure State League (TSL) and U13 East Kootenay League (EKL) participation, creating a pathway for players to continue their growth and pursue higher levels of competition.

Our goal is to provide opportunities for girls who are new to the game as well as those seeking more competitive experiences through league play, jamborees, tournaments, and travel opportunities. We believe every player deserves the opportunity to develop their skills, challenge themselves, and enjoy the game in an environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

NMYHA follows the USA Hockey American Development Model (ADM), emphasizing long-term athlete development, age-appropriate training, and a lifelong love of hockey. Our coaches are committed to helping every player reach their full potential while fostering confidence, leadership, and a passion for the game.
